6th grade and up: Why Do Authors Write Books? Using THE MANIC PIXIE DREAM BOY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT as a basis, we discuss 5 main reasons authors write touching on theme, plot, intertexuality and more.

2nd grade and up: Idea to Execution. So you have an idea - now what do you do? Using CHICK-O-SAURUS REX as a basis, we discuss how to narrow your great idea into a book that expresses your interests and point-of-view.
